18-Jan-2017:

I purchased a house on 31st of january 2018.Wheather it is automatic mutation or not i dont no.Please help me

    1. Dear Mr Paul,

Although the automation process has been initiated by the government, it may not have become completely automated yet. In our opinion it would be better if you check with city survey department. In case they have not mutated it already, you would need to follow their procedure.

I am purchased property on October 2017 but city survey office not recorded automatically name .. why?

    1. Sir,

Although the government has made the process of applying for mutation online, the back end process is still manual. At the moment, you will have to meet the concerned official and provide required documents (sale deed copy) & followup. Hopefully in coming time this process will change so that the name gets mutated when property exchanges hands.

    1. Mr Berger,

Although the government tried to bring changes, the back end process is still manual, you will have to meet the concerned official and followup. I am sure in coming time real estate will be fully digital.
