The city is expanding and the area around Nagpur City is developing very fast. The Govt is committed to providing basic amenities in this area. Recent amendments to MRTP Act will ensure planned development of newer areas.
Peri-urban water supply scheme for 10 villages in Besa-Beltarodi belt in vicinity of Nagpur city has started its work which will ensure 24×7 water supply. Fifty-six types of plans for construction of houses have been proposed by the state for which sanction of building plan will be done in 7 days. Gram Panchayat has been authorized to sanction development plan in Gaothan areas.
