NA permissions easier in Maharashtra
Industrial use of agricultural land made very easy in Maharashtra

For industrial use of agricultural land now only Revenue department has to be intimated. The authorities will consider the industry as deemed to have NA permission.
The concerned authority will be responsible for obtaining such NA permission for granting approval for construction. This is a big step towards ease of doing business.
NA permission for industries eased, only 3 NOCs required

District Collector has reduced the number of NOC (No Objection Certificates) to only three. Time-frame has been fixed for each department.
If the department does not grant or reject in 21 days, it will be deemed as permission granted. Until now 13 permissions were required causing inordinate delay.
NA permissions to be issued by local bodies in Maharashtra

The Government will be delegating powers of issuing NA (Non-Agricultural) permissions to local bodies. The local bodies will be empowered to issue NA permissions after scrutiny of development plan.
There will not be any need to go to District Collectorate for NA permission in coming time. Provisions of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act would be relaxed to allow transfer of a part of agricultural land within developed municipal areas for NA use.
