Modern farming needed to increase yield in Vidarbha

Cotton growers in Australia get 2200 Kg per hectare, while in Vidarbha they get 300 Kgs. Farmers should work together & use modern techniques, create cluster and adopt best practices.

Farmers should reduce their dependence on Cotton & Soyabean which are mostly rainfed & prepare to diversify into dairy, food processing etc says Dr CD Mayee, Chairman, Advisory Council, Agrovision.
