Model bye laws for clearances to building within 30 days in India

The Union Urban Development Ministry has released Model Building Bye-laws which propose to grant all clearances to building plans within 30 days from submission.
Now, only C category buildings (those having construction between 50,000 sq mtr to 1,50,000 sq mtr) will require environmental clearances.
Building layouts will be approved in 5 days, fire fighting approval will be given in 15 days, pollution clearance in 5 days, electric substation NOC in 5 days, building permit in 1 day of obtaining NOCs. Disapproval information will be given in 5 days.
Small buildings with built up areas upto 105 sq mts, if conforming to standard approved layout will be deemed approved for construction and owner can submit a 1 page form with other documents.
