20-Feb-2016 :

CANECUS SSSC has taken 50 acres of land at MIHAN SEZ to assemble nano, pico and micro satellites at an investment of Rs 150 crores.

Milind Pimprikar, Founder, says such mini satellites are used commercially and are popular in western countries where they would be exported.

In coming time the company will source from local ancillaries. Small satellites can be deployed for agriculture, transport, railways or farmer groups for specific uses.

    Dear Milind Pimprikar,

Its a very good decision to set up nano satellite manufacturing unit at MIHAN, Nagpur.

I am Ex-DRDO scientist(Joint Director) now running an engineering institute at Nagpur. I would like to get associated with your unit and be part of it. Please let me know if we can work together.

    Regards.
