Building Plans will be sanctioned in Maharashtra on-line without human intervention.
With this an Architect need not visit the Govt department for the same. It is being called Building Permit Management System (BPMS).
It will be developed based on DC rules of the concerned city/ rural area says Vijay Gautam, Principal Secy, IT, Govt of Maharashtra.
This is a big relief to the building construction industry. It was earlier experimented at Umred, Talegaon and Panvel he said.
